I have long thought that producing fresh water only with the sun, gravity and without too much sophistication is an emergency in many respects. I identified the different aspects of solar distillation to optimize the different processes with publication of articles recommended by peers. I have been working for 4 years on a device that now meets many of the challenge criteria.
